When golfing, sometimes it’s better to walk, rather than getting a golf cart. This helps you get much more exercise so that you can improve your health. By walking, you’ll also keep your body limber and your muscles warmed up.

TIP! For beginner golfers, learning to grip the club properly is key. Avoid the urge to squeeze the club as tightly as possible when hitting the ball.

There is an exercise utilizing your toes that could point out issues in the way you are standing while playing golf. If it is difficult to wiggle your toes when preparing to swing your club, this indicates you are leaning too far towards the ball. A golfer should lean back to the point where their feet gives them proper posture.

Don’t starve on the course, bring a small snack or high protein bar with you. Golf can make one both mentally and physically tired. Any snack with high amounts of protein and sufficient calories not only keeps you more mentally alert, but also wards off any approaching muscle tiredness. When you stay mentally and physically alert, you can make it through the whole course much more easily.

TIP! Use a light, neutral grasp on all of your golf clubs. A grip that is overly tight will pull your shot rightwards.
